How to get started in Star Citizen

When a new player first launches Star Citizen the menus can be a lot to take in.  Star Citizen contains two main portions of the game, the Universe andElectronic Accessr.  The Universe combines ship piloting and first person shooter game play into one area that currently hosts 24 players.  Exploration, combat, various missions and the ability to crew large space ships with other players are among the many things to do in the Universe at Crusader.  Electronic Access contains options for Arena Commander and Star Marine, although Star Marine is Disabled until patch 2.6.  Arena Commander is a battle simulation that currently hosts ship combat with various match styles to chose from, including battling swarms of npcs or other players.  Star Marine will be a FPS style simulator that will contain various match types, much like Arena Commander.  Additionally there is the Hangar, where you can view and customize your ships.  To help any new players that might feel overwhelmed by all the various match types I have made a video with a complete walk through of how to navigate the basic menus in Star Citizen.
